Notes:
The processes of individual conceptual discovery and its conversion into a new product or artifact are modelled in the form of a classical syllogism. The processes are represented as cycles of interaction of three mental processes of professionalism, generalism, and philosophy, within a communication domain ‘journalism’ (‘PGP-J’). The system is illustrated with examples including the multiple cycles of innovativeness required within the development of new generations of soil infiltrometers.
