However, behavioral techniques in conjunction with phenothiazines have yielded encouraging results. A case study is presented in which obsessions about homosexuality were treated by phenothiazines combined with systematic desensitization. The obsessions as well as the anxiety associated with them diminished and social relationships improved significantly. |
