fussnote We investigate the stability of the replica-symmetric solution of the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick(SK)-Ising spin glass in a transverse field. It is shown that the replica-symmetric solution is unstable in the whole low-temperature phase. The low temperature behaviour is investigated by applying the first stage of replica-symmetry breaking to the present model.
