fussnote The anomalies in the L-subshell internal conversion intensities in the 57.6 keV transition in ^1^8^0Hf^m, which have recently been interpreted by Scharff-Goldhaber and McKeown as evidence for parity impurities in the nuclear levels, are shown to be entirely understood with the inclusion of nuclear structure dependent terms in the internal conversion process.
