Abstract Maugin's Scheme for a relativistic perfect magnetofluid is used to study the convection-free stress and convective deformations of the matter tensor for the magnetofluid. It is proved that the convection-free stress of the magnetofluid implies the conservation of the pressure, the density, and the magnitude of the magnetic field along the flow vector. The relation between convective deformations of the matter tensor for the magnetofluid and deformation tensor is obtained.
