Abstract High yield synthesis of the stable Er-containing alkoxides Er5O(OiPr)13, ErAl3(OiPr)12, Er4TiO (OiPr)14, Er2Ti4O2(OEt)18(HOEt)2 and Er2Zr2O(OiPr)12(HOiPr)3 is described. The solid state single-crystal X-ray determined structures are given and FT-IR spectroscopy is used to compare the structures of the solid and dissolved states. It was shown that all structures remained close to intact in solution.
