Summary By taking radiative parameters independent of magnetic field, the aim of this paper is to investigate the propagation of spherical shock in self-gravitating conducting gas spheres, such as stars, caused by an instantaneous central explosion of finite amount of energy. Ionisation, dissociation have not been taken into account and the medium is assumed to be a fully perfect gas.
