ISSN: 1573-093XSource: Springer Online Journal Archives 1860-2000Topics: PhysicsNotes: Abstract We report an unsuccessful search for the He+ λ 4686 line in the low chromosphere. However, at the location of this line we detect a number of other chromospheric emission lines. This leads us to the conclusion that the He+ λ 4686 identification made in the past, as well as other identifications, are probably in error. Additionally the region of the neutral helium λ4713 line is also studied.Type of Medium: Electronic ResourceURL: -
