    Notes:
Abstract An unusual case of isolated renal vascular injury due to blunt abdominal trauma is presented. Both renal arteries were thrombosed. The right renal vein was partially torn at its junction with the inferior vena cava and was thrombosed. Both kidneys were necrotic. The right renal vessels were cleared of thrombus and the vein was repaired. The arterial injury consisted of an intimal tear only.
