Anhand der Literatur wird dargelegt, daß auch mechanische Läsionen anderer Hirnnerven (II, V, VI, IX, XII) durch ähnliche Gefäßanomalien verursacht sein können.Notes: Summary Four cases of facial spasm and 1 case of oculomotor paresis are described. The source of the disorder in all 5 cases is mostlikely not an aneurysm of the vessels of the base of the brain. The literature is discussed and thereby it is shown that mechanical disturbances of other cranial nerves (II, V, VI, IX, XII) can be caused by similar vascular (nonaneurysmal) abnormalities.Type of Medium: Electronic ResourceURL: -

Nous avons découvert que sur l'angiographie de profil, la surface sous-jorcente a l'artère cérébrale anterieure (artère péricalleuse) augmente proportionnelement au volume du ventricle, lequel est mesuré à partir de la surface de la cella media, sur cliché pneumencephalographique de face. Nous avons trouvé une grande concidence entre les estimations cliniques et neuroradiologiques d'une part et les mesures planimetriques d'autre part.Abstract: Zusammenfassung Anstatt der üblichen deskriptiven Kriterien zur Beurteilung des hydrostatischen Hydrocephalus im Angiogramm wurde eine planimetrische Meßmethode auf ihre Brauchbarkeit hin untersucht. Es zeigte sich, daß die Fläche unter der Arteria cerebri anterior (pericallosa) im seitlichen Angiogramm zunimmt proportional dem Ventrikelvolumen, für das als Maß die Fläche der Cella media im pneumencephalographischen anterior-posterioren Strahlengang verwendet wurde. Es wurde eine hohe Übereinstimmung zwischen den klinischen und deskriptiven neuroradiologischen Urteilen und den planimetrischen Meßwerten gefunden.Notes: Summary Instead of the usual descriptive criteria commonly adopted for angiographic assessment of hydrostatic hydrocephalus, planimetric measuring methods were tried out. It was shown that the surface area under the anterior cerebral artery (pericallosal) as measured in the lateral angiogram increases proportionally to the volume of the cella media. A high degree of conformity was shown between the clinical and descriptive neurological findings and the planimetrically obtainable values.Type of Medium: Electronic ResourceURL: -

One of the advantages of a xerotomogram is that it reduces the lack of sharpness caused by tomography. The wide recording latitude of a xerotomogram makes a more detailed evaluation of the bone structure and the outlines of the soft tissue possible when these are contrasted be means of air. Neben der genauen Darstellung der Cauda equina und der Wurzeltaschen wird die gute Verträglichkeit des Mittels hervorgehoben. Irreversible Folgen oder gravierende akute Komplikationen wurden nicht beobachtet.Notes: Summary Results of lumbosacral myelography with a new water-soluble contrast medium (Dimer-X) are reported. The precise visualisation of the cauda equina and the roots and the good tolerance of the contrast substance are emphasized.
