    Abstract Linearized hydrodynamic equations for superfluid3He-superfluid4He solutions are examined. The addition of a new parameter, the velocity of the Fermi-pair condensate, increases the number of equations and, in consequence, the rank of the determinant of the equations. This leads to a new energy root of the determinant which describes an extra sound mode different from the first and second sound.

    Summary Nutritional therapy offers adequate support of medical treatment strategies in the field of gynecology. In premenstrual syndrome, reduction of fat, salt, alcohol, and caffeine intake as well as supplementation of vitamins A, B6, and calcium are recommended. Low-fat and carbohydrate-rich diets may reduce swelling, tension, and other symptoms in up to 60% of the patients suffering from mastodynia. Omega-3-fatty acids, which are found in fish, olives, peanuts, corn, and sunflower seeds, have therapeutic effects in endometriosis. Menstrual dysfunctions are often associated with nutritional habits (e.g., vegetarian diet). In addition to hormone replacement therapy, a sufficient supply of calcium and adequate physical exercise are important with respect to the prophylaxis and therapy of osteoporosis. Reduction in body weight (recommended body mass index of 20-25 kg/m2) is one of the most important objectives in the treatment of infertility. Recent data suggest that a meat-reduced, fiber-rich diet (average of 30% fat) containing unsaturated fatty acids and plenty of fresh vegetables could play an important role in preventing cancer.

    Zusammenfassung Im Bereich der Gynäkologie finden sich verschiedene Krankheitsbilder, bei denen ernährungsphysiologische Maßnahmen geeignet sind, ärztliche Therapiemaßnahmen zu ergänzen und zu unterstützen. Beim prämenstruellen Syndrom wird die Reduktion der Zufuhr von Fett, Zucker, Salz, Alkohol und Koffein sowie die Supplementation der Vitamine A, B6 und E sowie Kalzium empfohlen. Bei Mastodynie kann durch fettarme, kohlenhydratreiche Ernährung bei ca. 60% der Patientinnen eine deutliche Reduktion der Schwellung, des Spannungsgefühls und der Beschwerden erreicht werden. In der Therapie der Endometriose kommt omega-3-, omega-6- und omega-9-Fettsäuren eine therapeutische Bedeutung zu. Zyklusstörungen sind häufig mit Störungen im Essverhalten assoziiert. In der Prophylaxe und Therapie der Osteoporose spielt neben der Östrogensubstitution die ausreichende Zufuhr von Kalzium eine wichtige Rolle, in Kombination mit ausdauerndem körperlichen Training. Die Normalisierung des Körpergewichts auf einen “body mass index” (BMI) von 20-25 kg/m2 sollte bei der Therapie der Infertilität an erster Stelle stehen. Zur Krebsprophylaxe erscheint aufgrund der derzeitigen Erkenntnisse eine Ernährung als sinnvoll, die fleischarm und ballaststoffreich ist mit einem Fettanteil von etwa 30% mit ausreichend ungesättigten Fettsäuren sowie reichlich frischem Gemüse.

    Zum Thema Vorgestellt wird der Fall einer 20jährigen Erstgebärenden (41. SS) die bei bekanntem hypoplastischem Links-Herz-Syndrom des Kindes spontan entbindet. Bei Aufnahme und unter der Geburt fielen schwere fetale Bradykardien auf. Die intrapartale Überwachung wurde mittels Dopplersonographie vorgenommen. Nach Eröffnung des Muttermundes wurden bei schwer beurteilbarem CTG mehrfach fetale Mikroblutanalysen durchgeführt. Geboren wurde ein lebensfrischer, eutropher Knabe, der zur weiteren Diagnostik und Therapie in das Kinderzentrum verlegt wurde.

    Zusammenfassung Die Herztransplantation (HTX) stellt heute ein anerkanntes und standardisiertes Routineverfahren zur Behandlung von Endstadien einiger Herzerkrankungen dar. Die vorausgegangene Herztransplantation läßt im Falle einer nachfolgenden Schwangerschaft zahlreiche Risiken für die Mutter sowie den Feten erwarten. Sie beziehen sich sowohl auf den Verlauf der Schwangerschaft als auch auf die Geburt und das Wochenbett. Dazu gehören kardiovaskuläre, nephrologische, immunologische, pharmakologische und infektiologische Probleme, so daß eine Schwangerschaft bei Patientinnen nach HTX als Hochrisikoschwangerschaft angesehen werden muß. Die Betreuung der Schwangeren muß in enger Kooperation und Abstimmung zwischen Kardiologen, Kardiochirurgen, Geburtshelfern und Neonatologen erfolgen. Der Verlauf der Schwangerschaft sowie der Geburt sind in den meisten Fällen unkompliziert. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit muß Infektionen, der Überwachung des Blutdruckes und des fetalen Wachstums gelten. Die Beratung der werdenden Eltern muß die komplizierten Aspekte der psychosozialen Situation der Frau im bezug auf den Verlauf und die Prognose der Grunderkrankung berücksichtigen.

    Summary Cardiac transplantation (HTX) is accepted as an effective treatment for some end-stage cardiac diseases. Maternal risks during pregnancies after HTX include: hypertension, allograft rejection, infections and renal insufficiency. Potential risks to the fetus include side effects of immunosuppressives, preterm delivery and growth restriction. Pregnancies in cardiac transplant recipients should be considered high risk. This review demonstrates the variety of problems concerning pregnancy and delivery after HTX to help the doctor to advise these patients.

    Abstract. We give the recurrence formula satisfied by polynomials of two variables, orthogonal with respect to a rotation invariant measure. Moreover, we show that for polynomials satisfying such a recurrence formula, there exists an orthogonality measure which is rotation invariant. We also compute explicitly the recurrence coefficients for the disk polynomials.

    Abstract From an approach based on reduced density matrices it follows that the stress tensor for a superfluid contains a quite new off-diagonal term occurring also in the entropy equation. Examination of this problem on the basis of the theory proposed by Bogoliubov suggests that the new term should be added to the static pressure to give the total pressure. In addition, it is demonstrated that the second derivative of free energy with respect to volume and the square of the superfluid velocity do not commute.
