Conclusions The data presented indicate that it is expedient to use steel fiber-reinforced concrete for repairing hydraulic structures. The use of the Soviet superplasticizer S-3 and complex multicomponent additives developed on its base at the NIIZhB permit preparing and placing steel fiber-reinforced mixes by the traditional technology with the use of the existing technological equipment.

Abstract The nitration of benzotriazole N-oxide with dilute nitric acid gives the 7-nitro derivative, whereas nitration with a mixture of nitric and acetic acids gives isomers with nitro groups in the 5 and 7 positions in a ratio of 1∶9.

Abstract 1,5'-Bis(l,2,4-triazolyls) were obtained in 20–70% yields in the reaction of 1-nitro-3-R-1,2,4-triazoles (R=Cl, Br, NO2) with aqueous solutions of alkali hydroxides and reducing agents (KI, Fe2+, H2PO 2 − ) or with triethylamine in acetonitrile. The proposed mechanism for the formation of the dimers is discussed.
