Objektiv ließen sich 67 sehr gute und gute, 31 mäßige und 5 schlechte Ergebnisse feststellen. Die Analyse der unbefriedigenden Ergebnisse bestätigte mehrfach eine überforderung der jeweiligen Operationsmethoden. Im Falle beginnender femoropatellarer Arthrose empfiehlt es sich, die primäre Patellektomie zu erwägen.Notes: Summary Abrasion of cartilage was performed in 62 patients, ventral tilting after Bandi in 45, and primary patellectomy in 5. Of these 112 patients, 103 were examined at follow-up clinics, on average $$1{\raise0.5ex\hbox{$\scriptstyle 1$}\kern-0.1em/\kern-0.15em\lower0.25ex\hbox{$\scriptstyle 2$}}$$ years after the operation; 80 percent felt the operation had been beneficial. The authors found the results were good or very good in 67 cases, fair in 31, and poor in 5. In the cases with fair and poor results the surgical operation performed seems to have been inadequate.
