The paper examines how rugby referee requests video review of a game episode by a television match official (TMO) who assists referee in adjusting or revising in-game decisions. Author describes a number of fragments of test rugby broadcasts where actions of a referee from stopping play to video review request are shown. Author derives from the TMO Global Trial Protocol, a special document which regulates sequence and content of match officials' actions during consultation with the TMO. The description is made from the perspective of ethnomethodology and is provided with transcripts of conversations and video fragments. The paper suggests a number of guesses about sequence and content of the referee's actions related to blowing a whistle to stop play, stopping time with or without special signs and gestures, assistant referee's involvement, and location of participants of the situation. Author claims that it is not necessary for a referee to follow the Protocol in case his actions were properly understood by other participants. His moves, gestures and words as well as his orientation on players and assistants provide other participants enough information for meaningful interpretation of what is happening here and now. This allows to prevent halts and breaks during the game when the referee violates the sequence of actions provided by the Protocol. So social and ordered character of the situation under consideration is emphasized.

Scientific and technical activities in Russia are mainly concentrated in scientific organizations and universities. Taking into account the tasks of improving the mechanisms of public administration in the field of intellectual property, the development of tools to stimulate extra-budgetary financing of R & D, as well as the use of scientific results in the production activities of industrial enterprises, it is advisable to identify higher education organizations with significant performance in scientific and technical activities as well as creating and using RID, or leaders in patent and innovation activity, as well as creating and using RID. The tasks set in the study were solved using methods of retrospective analysis, methods of empirical research, including international and Russian approaches to ranking national and foreign universities. The proposed methodology of ranking Russian higher education organizations by the patent and innovation activity can be used for comparative assessment of scientific and technical competence in terms of Strategy of scientific and technological development areas of research. That, in turn, can be used to allocate funds and develop regulatory impact mechanisms for the sector of research and development, including universities and industrial enterprises, to stimulate them to effective research and innovation activities within the framework of scientific and production cooperation.

Мета дослідження: Визначення напрямів удосконалення неакадемічногостудентського досвіду в умовах трансформації вищої освіти під впливом постмодерністськихтенденцій та особливостей студентів нового покоління.Дизайн / метод / підхід дослідження: У роботі застосовано комбінацію гіпотетико-дедуктивного та індуктивного методів дослідження для всебічного вивчення неакадемічногостудентського досвіду. У межах гіпотетико-дедуктивного підходу автори спираються нанаявні теоретичні положення та результати попередніх досліджень, формулюючи на їхнійоснові припущення щодо сутності неакадемічного досвіду, його структури та чинниківвпливу. Індуктивний метод використовується для узагальнення і систематизації інформації,отриманої в ході огляду наукової літератури.Результати дослідження: Виявлено, що неакадемічний студентський досвід відіграєважливу роль у сприйнятті студентами закладів вищої освіти та якості навчання. Вінохоплює різні аспекти студентського життя, не пов'язані безпосередньо з навчанням, іформується здебільшого через надані університетом студентські послуги. На неакадемічнийдосвід впливають такі чинники як цілі та очікування студентів, інтеграція в університетськежиття, індивідуальні характеристики, минулий досвід і комунікація з персоналом закладувищої освіти. Наголошується на важливості адаптації підходів до формування даного досвідуз урахуванням особливостей сучасних студентів покоління Z.Теоретичне значення дослідження: У роботі систематизовано теоретичні підходи дорозуміння неакадемічного студентського досвіду, визначено його ключові складові тафактори впливу. Результати дослідження роблять внесок у вивчення трансформації вищоїосвіти в умовах постмодернізму.Практичне значення дослідження: Розуміння особливостей формуваннянеакадемічного студентського досвіду дасть змогу закладам вищої освіти вдосконалюватистратегії із залучення та утримання студентів, підвищувати їхню задоволеність і лояльність.Оригінальність / цінність: Запропоновано комплексний погляд на неакадемічнийстудентський досвід з урахуванням сучасних трендів у вищій освіті та характеристик новогопокоління студентів, що становить цінність як для дослідників, так і для управлінців у сферівищої освіти.Перспективи подальших досліджень / обмеження дослідження: Перспективним єподальше вивчення впливу цифрових навичок студентів на сприйняття ними якостіуніверситетських онлайн-послуг у контексті поліпшення неакадемічного досвіду.Тип статті: Теоретична. The purpose of the study: To identify areas for improving non-academic student experience in the context of higher education transformation under the influence of postmodern trends and characteristics of new generation students.Design / method / approach of the study: The paper uses a combination of hypothetical-deductive and inductive research methods to comprehensively study the non-academic student experience. Within the framework of the hypothetical-deductive approach, the authors rely on existing theoretical positions and the results of previous studies, formulating assumptions about the essence of non-academic experience, its structure and factors of influence. The inductive method is used to summarize and systematize the information obtained during the review of scientific literature.Results of the study: It has been found that non-academic student experience plays an important role in students' perception of higher education institutions and the quality of education. It covers various aspects of student life that are not directly related to learning and is formed mainly through the student services provided by the university. The non-academic experience is influenced by such factors as students' goals and expectations, integration into university life, individual characteristics, past experience, and communication with the staff of the higher education institution. The importance of adapting approaches to the formation of this experience, taking into account the characteristics of modern students of Generation Z, is emphasized.Theoretical significance of the study: The paper systematizes theoretical approaches to understanding of non-academic student experience, identifies its key components and and influence factors. The results of the study contribute to the study of the transformation of higher education in the context of postmodernism.Practical significance of the study: Understanding the peculiarities of the formation of of non-academic student experience will allow higher education institutions to improve strategies to attract and retain students, increase their satisfaction and loyalty.Originality/value: A comprehensive view of the non-academic student experience is offered, taking into account current trends in higher education and the characteristics of the new generation of students, which is of value to both researchers and managers in the field ofhigher education.Prospects for further research / limitations of the study: It is promising to further study the impact of students' digital skills on their perceptions of the quality of university online services in the context of improving the non-academic experience.Type of article: Theoretical.
