    Gas oscillations in a resonance tube are investigated experimentally and numerically. We found that for large amplitudes, heat interaction with the tube wall affects strongly gas flow for frequencies within the resonance band. A proposed model, accounting for heat interaction, shows good agreement with the experimental data. © 2002 American Institute of Physics.
