In: physica status solidi (b), Wiley, Vol. 34, No. 2 ( 1969-01), p. 711-716Abstract: An ESR study was made of defects produced by γ‐irradiation in hydrazonium sulphate (N 2 H 6 SO 4 and N 2 D 6 SO 4 ). The analysis of the experimental data shows that N 2 H and N 2 D defects are formed. The mechanism of the appearance of these defects is a breakage of N–H and N–D bonds, respectively. Some remarks about the character of the singly occupied orbital are made.Type of Medium: Online ResourceISSN: 0370-1972, 1521-3951URL: DOI: Language: EnglishPublisher: WileyPublication Date: 1969detail.hit.zdb_id: 208851-41481096-7 -

Herein, we report a proton‐activatable DNA‐based nanosystem that enables co‐delivery of Cas9/sgRNA and DNAzyme for the combined gene therapy of cancer. Ultra‐long ssDNA chains, which contained the recognition sequences of sgRNA in Cas9/sgRNA, DNAzyme sequence and HhaI enzyme cleavage site, were synthesized as the scaffold of the nanosystem. The DNAzyme cofactor Mn 2+ was used to compress DNA chains to form nanoparticles and acid‐degradable polymer‐coated HhaI enzymes were assembled on the surface of nanoparticles. In response to protons in lysosome, the polymer coating was decomposed and HhaI enzyme was consequently exposed to recognize and cut off the cleavage sites, thus triggering the release of Cas9/sgRNA and DNAzyme to regulate gene expressions to achieve a high therapeutic efficacy of breast cancer.Type of Medium: Online ResourceISSN: 0044-8249, 1521-3757URL: DOI: RVK: VA 2100VN 5020Language: EnglishPublisher: WileyPublication Date: 2022detail.hit.zdb_id: 505868-5506609-8514305-6505872-71479266-7505867-3506259-7 -

In: physica status solidi (b), Wiley, Vol. 33, No. 2 ( 1969-01), p. 587-598Abstract: The temperature dependence of the absorption spectrum from the edge to the inset of the lattice vibrations can be described by indirect band‐band transitions and excitations from a thermally occupied trap level, the existence of which has been proved in the second part of this paper by illumination at low temperatures changing the absorption and photoconductivity spectrum inportantly. – Free carrier absorption superimposed on the lattice spectrum has been found at high temperatures. Its increase proportional to λ 3 suggests scattering by charged centres. Their density is about 5 × 10 20 cm −3 surpassing impurities by a factor of 10 2 . The effective mass of holes is estimated at 8 m 0 corresponding to a conductivity by hopping processes. The complicated lattice vibration spectrum is nearly independent of temperature between 4 and 13 μm indicating that there are no combination bands.Type of Medium: Online ResourceISSN: 0370-1972, 1521-3951URL: DOI: Language: EnglishPublisher: WileyPublication Date: 1969detail.hit.zdb_id: 208851-41481096-7 -

Type of Medium: Online ResourceISSN: 0370-1972, 1521-3951URL: DOI: Language: EnglishPublisher: WileyPublication Date: 1969detail.hit.zdb_id: 208851-41481096-7 -

Using the theoretical value K = 13, we have obtained for the transverse effective mass of the (111) minimum electrons and for the energy separation of the L 1 and Γ 1 minima: m t *(L 1 ) = 0.12 m e and Δ E = 83 meV at 300°K with d(Δ E )/d t = 5.5 × 10 −5 eV/°K. Type of Medium: Online ResourceISSN: 0044-8249, 1521-3757URL: DOI: RVK: VA 2100VN 5020Language: EnglishPublisher: WileyPublication Date: 2022detail.hit.zdb_id: 505868-5506609-8514305-6505872-71479266-7505867-3506259-7 -

The resistivity increment deduced by extrapolation of the low‐temperature resistivity variation leads to a vacancy formation energy lying in the range 0.36 to 0.39 eV and to an equilibrium vacancy concentration of 3 × 10 −3 at the melting point. These values are discussed and compared, in absence of available quenching data, to corresponding values deduced from other equilibrium methods.Type of Medium: Online ResourceISSN: 0370-1972, 1521-3951URL: DOI: Language: EnglishPublisher: WileyPublication Date: 1969detail.hit.zdb_id: 208851-41481096-7 -

We herein report a photoinduced electron transfer (PeT) strategy to design Ex‐de fluorescence materials by manipulating the relaxation pathways of multiple excited states. As expected, the o‐carborane dyad presents a clear Ex‐de fluorescence colour in the aggregated states, resulting from the tunable relative intensity of the dual‐fluorescence spectra. Taking TP[1]B as an example, the amorphous powders emitted bright blue‐violet, white and yellow colours under 390 nm, 365 nm and 254 nm UV illumination, respectively. Importantly, multicolour, flexible and transparent films as well as an anticounterfeiting application using this o ‐carborane dyad are demonstrated.Type of Medium: Online ResourceISSN: 0044-8249, 1521-3757URL: DOI: RVK: VA 2100VN 5020Language: EnglishPublisher: WileyPublication Date: 2022detail.hit.zdb_id: 505868-5506609-8514305-6505872-71479266-7505867-3506259-7 -

Automated methods to systematically generate and screen AMPs according to their membrane preference, however, are still lacking. We introduce a novel microfluidic system for the simultaneous cell‐free production and screening of AMPs for their membrane specificity. On our device, AMPs are cell‐free produced within water‐in‐oil‐in‐water double emulsion droplets, generated at high frequency. Within each droplet, the peptides can interact with different classes of co‐encapsulated liposomes, generating a membrane‐specific fluorescent signal. The double emulsions can be incubated and observed in a hydrodynamic trapping array or analyzed via flow cytometry. Our approach provides a valuable tool for the discovery and development of membrane‐active antimicrobials.Type of Medium: Online ResourceISSN: 0044-8249, 1521-3757URL: DOI: RVK: VA 2100VN 5020Language: EnglishPublisher: WileyPublication Date: 2022detail.hit.zdb_id: 505868-5506609-8514305-6505872-71479266-7505867-3506259-7 -

In this article, we propose and experimentally confirm that the speeds of a self‐diffusiophoretic colloidal motor scale inversely to its population density but not for self‐electrophoretic motors, because the former is an ion source and thus increases the solution ionic strength over time while the latter does not. They also form clusters in visually distinguishable and quantifiable ways. This pair of rules is simple, powerful, and insensitive to the specific material composition, shape or size of a colloidal motor, and does not require any measurement beyond typical microscopy. These rules are not only useful in clarifying the operating mechanisms of typical autophoretic micromotors, but also in predicting the dynamics of unconventional ones that are yet to be experimentally realized, even those involving enzymes.Type of Medium: Online ResourceISSN: 0044-8249, 1521-3757URL: DOI: RVK: VA 2100VN 5020Language: EnglishPublisher: WileyPublication Date: 2022detail.hit.zdb_id: 505868-5506609-8514305-6505872-71479266-7505867-3506259-7 -

Here, we report a novel functional group, phenyl carbamoylated guanidine (Ph‐CG), that greatly enhances the delivery efficiency to various types of cells. Owing to the substantially lowered p K a , the hydrophobic Ph‐CG offers optimized inter‐macromolecular interactions via enhanced hydrogen‐bonding and hydrophobic interactions. The coplanarity of Ph‐CG also leads to the better intracellular entry of protein complexes. Intracellularly delivered apoptosis‐inducing enzymes and antibodies significantly induce cell viability inhibitions in a serum‐containing medium.
