Hierbei wird die Endbestimmung des Broms colorimetrisch mit Kresolrot durchgeführt. Im Bereich von 2–40 μg Br wurden geradlinige Eichkurven erhalten und Standardabweichungen von 0,08–0,16 μg gefunden. Bei Abwesenheit von Oxydations- und Reduktionsmitteln stören nur Chlorid und Jodid. Die Methode wurde mit gutem Erfolg zur Analyse einer Anzahl organischer Substanzen benutzt.Notes: Summary A method is described for the sub-micro determination of bromine in organic compounds. A colorimetric finish is used employing cresol red as a reagent. 2–40 μg of bromine were determined with standard deviations of 0.08–0.16 μg. Straight line calibration curves were obtained within this range. Interferences were given only by chloride and iodide, provided that oxidising and reducing agents were absent.
