ISSN: 1433-075XKeywords: Keywords Catalysts ; Iron ore ; Mechanical activation ; Coal hydrogenationSource: Springer Online Journal Archives 1860-2000Topics: Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Production Engineering, Mining and Metallurgy, Traffic Engineering, Precision MechanicsNotes: Abstract Genesis of pyrrhotite catalysts from different iron ore concentrates and pure iron oxides was investigated using the method of mechanochemical treatment in a planetary mill. The dispersion and fine crystalline structure of oxide and pyrrhotite particles were studied as the function of mechanical load, sulfiding temperature and mode of preparation. Methods for the preparation of high performance iron ore-based catalysts for brown coal hydrogenation have been developed.Type of Medium: Electronic ResourceURL: -

Published 1998Staff ViewISSN: 1063-7834Source: Springer Online Journal Archives 1860-2000Topics: PhysicsNotes: Abstract X-ray diffractometry and low-temperature exciton spectroscopy are used to study heteroepitaxial CdSe/CdS layers grown at temperatures of 350–485 °C by MOCVD. The high-temperature samples are found to display the exciton and x-ray diffraction spectra characteristic of hexagonal Wurtzite (W) structures, while the low-temperature samples display the features characteristic of the cubic structure of sphalerite (ZB). A number of the samples have x-ray spectra characteristic of structures with stacking faults (SF), which represent a separate crystalline phase in the structures studied here. It is found that the individual crystalline phases are spatially separated.Type of Medium: Electronic ResourceURL: -

ISSN: 1573-8388Source: Springer Online Journal Archives 1860-2000Topics: Chemistry and PharmacologyNotes: Abstract An analysis is given of literature information on the liquid column chromatography of coumarins for 1983–1990. Questions of the classification of the methods used, the choice of the optimum detection regime, and the conditions of chromatographic separation are discussed. The relationship between the structures of coumarins and their chromatographic behavior is considered. Conditions for the separation, isolation, and analysis of coumarins in various materials are given.Type of Medium: Electronic ResourceURL: -

Conditions for the separation of complex mixtures of coumarins are considered, and questions of the use of coumarins in the HPLC analysis of natural and synthetic organic compounds are discussed.Type of Medium: Electronic ResourceURL: -

ISSN: 1573-8388Source: Springer Online Journal Archives 1860-2000Topics: Chemistry and PharmacologyNotes: Abstract The possibility of separating the components of the polyphenolic compounds of creeping bellflower Campanula rapunculoides L. on the adsorbent morin-azophenylsulfonylethoxyethyl-Spheron by the method of nonclassical low-pressure affinity chromatography has been studied. It has been shown to be feasible to separate phenolcarboxylic acids and flavone glycosides and aglycons.Type of Medium: Electronic ResourceURL: -

ISSN: 1573-8388Source: Springer Online Journal Archives 1860-2000Topics: Chemistry and PharmacologyNotes: Abstract The chromatographic behavior of some glycosides of quercetin and luteolin on polymeric adsorbents of the affinity type has been investigated by low-pressure column chromatography. The separation of the glycosides according to the total polarity of their molecules has been shown — first the triosides are eluted, then the biosides, and, finally the monosides. The prospects of developing nonclassical affinity chromatography in the study of flavonoids are discussed.Type of Medium: Electronic ResourceURL: -

For the integral are obtained various integral representations and transformations with respect to both variables, on the basis of which asymptotic expansions are deduced for various values of the parameters.Type of Medium: Electronic ResourceURL: -

The advantages of making articles by combined pressing, including static pressing in a rigid mold and final electrohydraulic-impulse pressing were demonstrated. We developed and studied various schemes for the method with solid specimens and sleeves. We determined the most effective ÉGIP schemes, ensuring the greatest density with the same energy reserves in the plant. The effect of various technical factors on the properties of the pressed articles was determined. Experimental technology was worked out for electrohydraulic-impulse pressing of refractories using process modeling. We produced an experimental batch of collectors and carried out production testing to show that they had better service properties.Type of Medium: Electronic ResourceURL: -
